Hyderabad: Korem Ashok Reddy, who took charge as the Special Commissioner, Information and Public Relations Department, Telangana, called on Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. He also met Telangana Chief Secretary Santhi Kumar as a courtesy call.
Ashok Reddy, who served as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Finance Minister T Harish Rao, was conferred with IAS rank in February this year. Posted as Special Commissioner, I&PR, he relieved Arvind Kumar from full additional charge (FAC) of the key post.
Ashok Reddy is expected to play key role in popularising the BRS Government's welfare schemes as Telangana heads to Assembly elections later this year.
